On behalf of YB Nga Kor Ming - than= k you for the warm reception accorded to us, especially as stated in the speech of your President Dato’= Kamarulbahrain Zainuddin.
Mind Set Change. = ; Paradigm shift. You vo= ted for change. If we may suggest we use Information Technology as one of our platforms to bring about the changes for Perak in particular Tai= ping. As initiated by the pr= evious State Government, we will con= tinue to promote Perak as the first state in the country to be entirely wireless (i.e. every citizen of Perak will have access to the inte= rnet).
We now have the Perak News Online @ www.kperak.com.my where you get to read and listen t= o the policy speeches for Perak Sta= te of our beloved Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Ir Haji Mohammad Nizar Bin Jamaluddin= and the State Exco members policies regarding their respective Committees. This is true transparency fo= r everyone to view!
Northern Corridor Economic Region Project -= recently our Menteri Besar had a meeting with our beloved Prime Mini= ster and our Prime Minister has stated that the Federal Government will carry on with the development of the Project.
Perak state is the focus of the world. As our beloved Menteri Besar= has been interviewed by 5 interna= tional TV station namely CNN, BBC, CNBC, etc. In answering to our Menteri Besar’s question of why Perak? The reply is always th= e same that if the Perak State coalition government works, it will become a role model for Indonesia, Philippines & Myanmar. Perak is a very important state in the world radar now, so lets work together for the change and become the role model for the Pacific rim and South East Asia!
Globalisation - the challenges of globalisation – look beyond Taiping to creat= e a better Taiping and in actual fact look beyond Perak! Be receptive to new and fresh ideas, open up to “aliens” like me = (YB Nga Kor Ming – member of Parliament for Taiping) and
YB Yee Seu Kai - State Assemblyman for Pokok Assam!
Therefore we urge Taiping residence to set up a single Information Technology Centre with sufficient economies of scale, with individual clubs having its Information Technology department to contribute to this IT Centre, i.e. each individual club may be in charge of,
say Web Building, another Blog, the 3rd - mass mailing system etc. This will put Taiping on the= world map via the internet, this pl= atform will eventually promote tourism and brings businesses and trade for Taiping= !
