1. = ; NAME OF CLUB

<= o:p>

1.1 The Club shall be called the "CHINESE RECREATION CLUB, TAIPING"<= /o:p>

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> （太平华人 = 体育會） and shall be limited to Chinese except

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> in the case= of Patrons and Honorary and Associate Members.

<= o:p>

2. = ; OBJECT

<= o:p>

2.1 &n= bsp; The object of the Club shall be to afford facilities for intellectual, moral, social

= and physical advancement of its members and such other funds for the benefit

= of its members as may be approved at a General Meeting.

<= o:p>

3. = ; MEMBERSHIP<= /o:p>

<= o:p>

3.1 &n= bsp; The Club shall consist of Patrons, Honorary Members, Life Members,

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> Ordinary Members, Associate Members, Outstation Members, Junior Members

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> who may be of either s= ex and Corporate Members.

<= o:p>

3.1.1 = PATRONS

<= o:p>

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> Persons who have rende= red valuable service to the Club may on the recommendation of the Committee be elected as Patrons at a General Meeting.

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> They shall not be enti= tled to hold office in the Committee or to vote and they shall not be required to pay entrance fee or subscription.

<= o:p>

3.1.2 = HONORARY MEMBERS

<= o:p>

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> Persons of other than = the Chinese race who have rendered service to the Club may on the recommendatio= n of the Committee be elected as Honorary Members at a

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'> &= nbsp; General Meeting. They shall not be entitled to hold office in the Committee or to v= ote and they sh= all not be required to pay entrance fee or subscription.

<= o:p>

3.1.3 = LIFE MEMBERS

<= o:p>

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> Life Members are those Ordinary Members who have paid the subscription

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> provided under Rule 7.= 2.1.

<= o:p>

3.1.4 = ORDINARY MEMBERS

<= o:p>

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> Ordinary Members are t= hose who reside within an area of fifteen miles radius from the Post Office, Tai= ping (hereafter referred to as "the resident area.")=

<= o:p>

3.1.5&= nbsp; ASSOCIATE MEMBERS

<= o:p>

3.1.5.1 Associate Members are persons = of other than the Chinese race who reside within the resid= ent area. They shall not ordinarily exceed 25 per centum of the total Ordinary = Membe= rship and they shall not be entitled to hold office in the Committee or to vote.<= o:p>

<= o:p>

3.1.6 = OUTSTATION MEMBERS

<= o:p>

3.1.6.1 Outstation Members are those Ordinary and Associate Members who have left the resi= dent area and who wish to continue their association with the Club. Outstation <= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'> Members shall not be en= titled to hold office in the Committee or to vote.

<= o:p>

3.1.6.2 Notwithstanding the limit of membership imposed in Rule 3.1.4 and 3.1.5, = Outstation Members who were previously Ordinary or Associate Members and who return to reside in the resid= ent area shall automatically rejoin the category of membership they were last in and in such an event, they shall be required to pay the = ; appropriate subscriptions.

3.1.7 = JUNIOR MEMBERS

<= o:p>

3.1.7.1 Children of members sponsored = by their fathers or single parents may be enrolled as = ; Junior Members. They shall not be entitled to hold office in the Committee or to v= ote &= nbsp; and their membership shall automatically cease on reaching their 18th birthday/= upon the resignation/termina= tion of their parents' membership.

<= o:p>

3.1.7.2 Junior Member attaining the ag= e of majority on his/her 18th birthday shall apply for admission = as an adult member, paying the entrance fee at the rate prevailing &= nbsp; when he/she was last enrolled as a Junior Member.

<= o:p>

3.1.8 = SINGLE LADY MEMBERS

<= o:p>

3.1.8.1 Single Lady Members shall be opened to single ladies above the age of 18 years. Upon marriage their husbands and children cannot make use of the facilities of the &n= bsp; Club unless their husbands and children become members of the Club.

<= o:p>

3.1.9 = CORPORATE MEMBERS

<= o:p>

3.1.9.1 Corporate Membership shall be opened to institutions or corporations. Each Corporate Member is entitled to have two nominated family units whose members shall enjoy all the facilities of the Club but shall not be entitled to hold &= nbsp; office in the Committee or = ; to vote.

<= o:p>

4. = ELECTION OF MEMBERS

<= o:p>

4.1 An applicant seeking admission to t= he Club must be proposed by one

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> Life/Ordinary Mem= ber and seconded by another Life/Ordinary Member. He shall apply in writing to the Honorary Secretary who shall post up his application for one = ; week on the Club Notice Board together with the entrance fee and one month's subscriptio= n.

<= o:p>

4.2 Any member desiring to oppose such application shall send in his objection in = writing to the Honorary Secretary, who shall bring the same to the notice of the Commi= ttee before whom such application will be considered.

<= o:p>

4.3 &n= bsp; The election of members shall be vested in the Committee and it shall be by a <= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'> majority vote. The Chairman shall have a casting vote.

<= o:p>

4.4 &n= bsp; On an applicant being elected as a member, the Honorary Secretary shall notify=

= him of the fact, forward to him a copy of the Constitution and Bye-Laws of the = Club and request him to pay h= is subscription for the current month.

<= o:p>

4.5 &n= bsp; The proposer and the seconder shall be responsible for the conduct, behaviour <= o:p>

= and any loss or damages to Club property caused by the applicant until he/she <= o:p>

= is enrolled as a member.

<= o:p>

4.6 &n= bsp; An applicant for membership shall have the privilege of enjoying all the facil= ities of the Club as if he were= a member until such time as his application has been considered = by the Committee. Such privilege shall cease in the event of his application b= eing rejected by= the Committee.

<= o:p>

5. = RE-NOMINATION

<= o:p>

5.1 &n= bsp; No applicant who has been rejected shall be eligible for re-nomination

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> until six calendar mon= ths after such rejection.

<= o:p>

6. &nbs= p; RE-ADMISSION

<= o:p>

6.1 &n= bsp; Any member who has resigned under Rule 10 shall be allowed to rejoin the

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> Club without payment of entrance fee if he applied for re-admission within

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> six months from the da= te of his resignation. Thereafte= r, the ex-member shall be allowed to rejoin the Club with payment of 15% of the prevailing entrance fee at th= e time of application.

<= o:p>

7. &nbs= p; ENTRANCE FEE AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

<= o:p>

7.1.1 = The Entrance Fee shall be RM 3,000.00.

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> Wives and J= unior Members shall be exempted.

<= o:p>

7.1.2 = Single Lady Members shall pay 50% of the Entrance Fee. Their husbands

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> shall pay t= he balance of the Entrance Fee at the rate prevailing when their

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'> &= nbsp; husbands apply to become members.

7.1.3 = Junior Members upon attaining the age of 18 years may pay his/her entrance fee

= by instalments of RM50.00 per month until the full sum is paid up. He shall

= forfeit the monies if the sum is not paid up in full.

<= o:p>

7.2&n= bsp; <= i>The Subscription shall be as follows:-

<= o:p>

7= .2.1 &n= bsp; Life Member ..... RM5,000.00 in one payment.

<= o:p>

7= .2.2 &n= bsp; Ordinary Member .....&nb= sp; RM10.00 per month or RM100.00 per year if

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> & Associate Member paid in one lump sum on or before the 28th/29th = &nb= sp; = &nb= sp; &= nbsp; February of the year.

<= o:p>

7.2.3= Outstation Member ..... RM20.00 per year or part ther= eof.

<= o:p>

7= .2.4 &n= bsp; Junior Members        ..... RM2.00 per month or RM20.00 p= er year if paid

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:4'>        &= nbsp;           &nbs= p;            &= nbsp;           &nbs= p;        in o= ne lump sum on or before the 28t= h/29th February

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:4'>        &= nbsp;           &nbs= p;            &= nbsp;           &nbs= p;        of t= he year.

<= o:p>

7.2.5= Family Unit Subscri= ption

<= o:p>

7.2.5.1 A member may apply to pay with= the approval of the Committee of Management

=            a group subscription in respect of his or her family unit, comprising the sai= d         &= nbsp; member, his or her lawful spouse and all lawful children under 18 years old.

<= o:p>

7.2.5.2 The said group subscription to= be termed "Family Unit Subscription" shall be

=            paid at the rate of RM20.00 per month or RM200.00 per calendar year if paid in o= ne         lump sum on or before the 28th/29th February of the year.

7= .2.5.3 The spouse and children of any member paying the Family Unit Subscription, =        being non-paying member, shall automatically cease to enjoy the facilities of the=         &= nbsp; Club in the event of the paying-member ceasing to be a member of the Club for

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   any reason whatsoever.

7= .2.5.4 The spouse and children of the paying-member shall not be entitled to vote = or

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   hold office in the Committee of Management.

<= o:p>

7.2.6 =    Corporate Members      &= nbsp;      .....   RM 2,000.00 per year.

<= o:p>

8. =        DEVELOPMENT FUND

8= .1       Sum of RM50= 0.00 per Family Unit and RM250.00 per Life/Ordinary/Associate/=

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            Outstation Member.

<= o:p>

8= .2       RM250.00 to= be paid over 10 months. (For present members)

<= o:p>

8.3 &n= bsp;     A Junior Member attaining the age of majority on his/her 18th birthday on conversion to an adult member can apply f= or deferred payment for the duration

=            of their full time studies in recognised institutions of higher learning.=

<= o:p>

8= .4       On completi= on of his/her course, he/she shall commence payment towards

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            the Development Fund w= ithin six months. The onus rests on the members

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            concerned to notify the Management of the Club.

<= o:p>

8= .5       Payment to = this Fund is mandatory and there shall be no refund.

<= o:p>

9= . =        CHANGE OF ADDRESS

<= o:p>

9= .1       Every member shall notify the Honorary Secretary of his change of address

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            failing which any lett= er, circular or notice sent to his last registered address shall

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   be considered as having been delivered.

<= o:p>

1= 0. = ;     RESIGNATION

<= o:p>

1= 0.1     A member must give writ= ten notice of his intended resignation to the Honorary

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   Secretary or he shall be held liable for the following months’ subscription.

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   Every such resignation shall take effect as from the first of the month next

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   following the receipt thereof.

<= o:p>

1= 1. = ;      COMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT

<= o:p>

1= 1.1     The Management of= the affairs of the Club shall be vested in a Committee to be<= /p>
<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   elected from amongst Life & Ordinary Members who shall have completed three

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   years’ continuous membership on the date of election and shall consist of a         &= nbsp; President, four Vice-Presidents, an Honorary Secretary and an Honorary

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   Assistant Secretary, an Honorary Treasurer and six Members of the Committee.

<= o:p>

11.2 &= nbsp;   All the members of the Committee shall be elected biennially by ballot at the <= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>         = Annual General Meeting.

1= 1.3     Each sports and social section may send a Representative, who shall be a Life or    Ordinary Member, to attend me= etings of the Committee as an adviser for the section,       but such Representative shall have= no vote on any matter affecting the management

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   of the Club.

12. = ;     COMMITTEE MEETINGS

1= 2.1     The Committee shall mee= t once a month or at any time on the requisition

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            of fi= ve members of the Committee. There shall be at least three days notice of

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   every Committee Meeting. Emergency Committee Meetings may however be         called at short notice.

<= o:p>

<= o:p>

12.2 &= nbsp;   At all Committee Meetings, the President shall be Chairman and in his absence,=

=            one of the Vice-Presidents to be appoin= ted by the Committee. In the absence of

=            the President and all the Vice-Presidents, the members present shall appoint on= e

=            of their number to be Chairman.

<= o:p>

1= 2.3     Five members shall form= a quorum.

<= o:p>

1= 3. = ;     ABSENCE OF COMMITTEE MEMBERS

<= o:p>

1= 3.1     Any member of the Commi= ttee failing to attend three consecutive Committee

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            Meeti= ngs without a satisfactory explanation to the Committee shall be considered to =        have vacated his seat when another shall be appointed in his place. The President shall       &= nbsp; be exempted from this rule.

<= o:p>

1= 4. = ;     POWERS OF THE COMMITTEE

<= o:p>

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            The Committee shall have power to:-

<= o:p>

14.1 &= nbsp;   Pass and amend Bye-Laws for the proper management of the Club. Such Bye-

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            Laws = shall be entered in a book kept for the purpose and be posted on the Club     Notice Board for the information of members and shall be binding on all members.

<= o:p>

1= 4.2     Fill up vacancies occur= ring in the Committee during the term of office, except that            of t= he President, in which case one of the Vice-Presidents shall be appointed by t= he      Committee to act = until the next election.

<= o:p>

14.3 &= nbsp;   Appoint Sub-Committee for the management of any department of the Club

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            consi= sting of such members (whether members of the Committee or not) as

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            they = may deem fit and to delegate to such Sub-Committee such of their powers

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   as they may consider necessary and to withdraw from such Sub-Committee all or =

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   any of such powers so delegated and to revoke all, such appointments. Any Sub-<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>   Committee so appointed shall,= in exercise of the powers so delegated conform to

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   all the Regulations that may from time to time be imposed upon it by the Commit= tee.        The Honorary Secretary of the Club shall be ex-officio of all Sub-Committees.

<= o:p>

14.4 &= nbsp;   Elect new members and accept resignations.

<= o:p>

1= 4.5     Order and purchase all = things considered by them to be necessary for the

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            use o= f the Club.

<= o:p>

14.6 &= nbsp;   Appoint, engage and dismiss the servants of the Club and to fix the amount of

=            their remuneration.

<= o:p>

1= 4.7     Take cognizance of any alleged misconduct within the premises of the Club

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            or Cl= ub grounds or of any infraction of the Rules and Bye-Laws on the part of =

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   any member and to take such action as they may think fit, including suspension =

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   for such period as may be decided by the Committee or expulsion of such member. &= nbsp;        The Committee, after instituting an inquiry, shall decide whether the conduct o= f a    member at any time constitute= s a misconduct and such decision shall be final and there             shall be no right of appeal or recourse by such member to a judicial or any other body = ;          or institution against such decision or any action taken by the Committee agai= nst such member in consequence of such decision.

<= o:p>

14.8 &= nbsp;   Decide in what approved Bank the Club funds shall be deposited.<= /p>
<= o:p>

1= 4.9     Exempt at their discret= ion any member or members from the payment of monthly subscriptions for a period of not exceeding six months. Such exemptions may be     &= nbsp;   renewed on further application.

<= o:p>

14.10 = Decide any question which may arise and which may not be covered by the=

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            Rules and Bye-Laws herein laid down. Such decision shall be final unless

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            reversed by= a General Meeting or Extra-Ordinary General Meeting.

<= o:p>

1= 5. = ;     GENERAL AND EXTRA-ORDINARY GENERAL MEETING

<= o:p>

1= 5.1     The Annual General Meet= ing shall be held between the months of January

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            and M= arch of each year and the business of such meeting shall be:-<= /p>
<= o:p>

1= 5.1.1 To read and confirm the minutes of = the previous Annual General Meeting;

<= o:p>

1= 5.1.2 To receive the report and pass the accounts for the preceding financial year

<= o:p>

1= 5.1.3 To elect Office Bearers;=

<= o:p>

1= 5.1.4 To elect two Honorary Internal Audi= tors;

<= o:p>

1= 5.1.5 To appoint an External Auditor and = fix his remunerations;

<= o:p>

15.1.6 To consider any business of which three clear days' notice in writing

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            shall have been g= iven to the Honorary Secretary.

<= o:p>

1= 5.1.7 General

<= o:p>

1= 5.2     An Extra-Ordinary General Meeting s= hall be called by the Honorary Secretary at the =          written requisition of not le= ss than 40 members or by the Committee when found   necessary and such requisition shall state in writing the subjects to be discussed           &nb= sp;            thereat. At all Ordinary Gene= ral Meetings 50 members shall for= m a quorum.

<= o:p>

1= 5.3      At all General and Extra-Ordinary G= eneral Meetings the President shall be   = ;                      chairman and in his absence o= ne of the Vice-Presidents to be appointed by the =          &nb= sp;            meeting. In the absence of the President and all the Vice Presidents, the =          &nb= sp;          &nb= sp;            members present shall appoint one of their number to be Chairman.

1= 6.       VOTIN= G

<= o:p>

16.1 &= nbsp;   At all meetings, General or Committee, all questions shall be decided by<= /o:p>

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            a maj= ority and the Chairman shall have a casting vote.

<= o:p>

1= 6.2     An Ordinary Member who = is in arrears of subscription for more than two months

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   at the date of a General Meeting shall not be entitled to vote at such meeting= .

<= o:p>

1= 7. =      QUORUM

<= o:p>

17.1 &= nbsp;   At any meeting, General or Committee, if there is a lack of quorum, 30 minutes after       &= nbsp; the meeting is scheduled to commence, such meeting shall stand adjourned for on= e         &= nbsp; week at the same place and time as the meeting for which notice has been     given and        the adjourned meeting thereafter shall proceed to transact all the business fix= ed for the original meeting irrespecti= ve of whether there is a quorum or not and any decision or             resolutions passed thereat shall not be invalidated by reason of a lack of quorum.=

18. =      ACCOUNTS

<= o:p>

18.1 &= nbsp;   Monthly subscriptions are due and payable on the 1st day of the month and failure <= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp; to pay such subscriptions by the 15th day of the same month shall render a        membe= r in arrears of subscriptions.<= /o:p>

<= o:p>

18.1.1 If a member fails to pay his monthly subscription for two months, the Honorary=     Secretary will notify h= im of the fact and if the amount due is not paid within 14         days thereafter, a fin= al notice shall be sent to him by registered post informing him         &= nbsp;   that if the amount due is not paid within 14 days of this receipt of the final <= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   notice,        &= nbsp;    his        name shall be posted up as a defaulter and he shall cease to be a member of the Club.

<= o:p>

18.2 &= nbsp;   Yearly subscriptions are due and payable on the 1st day of the year and failure

=            to pay such subscriptions by the 28th/29th February shall render a member in <= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        arrears of subscription.

<= o:p>

18.2.1 If a member fails to pay his yearly subscription by the 28th/29th February, th= e        Honor= ary Secretary shall notify him of the fact and if the amount due is not paid       within one = month of the receipt of the final notice, his name shall be posted up =

=            as a defaulter and he shall cease to be a member of the Club.

<= o:p>

18.3 &= nbsp;   The Committee may reinstate a defaulting member upon receiving a satisfactory <= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>   explanation from him, provide= d the defaulting member is at the time not in arrears             of subscriptions of more than six months and on payment of all arrears.

<= o:p>

18.3.1 If a defaulting member has been in arrears of his/her subscription for more th= an

=            six months, he/she cannot be reinstated. Such defaulting member shall apply for=

=            admissi= on as a new member and in addition to paying 25% the entrance fee he/she         &= nbsp; shall pay up all arrears of subscription when the defaulting member submits         &= nbsp;   his/her application form.=

<= o:p>

18.4&= nbsp;    Any extension of= time or other indulgence given by the Honorary Secretary to any         &= nbsp; member shall not affect the right of the Club to claim from such member all dues <= o:p>

=            or arrears of subscription.

<= o:p>

19. =      DEFAULTERS<= /p>
<= o:p>

1= 9.1     Any member who shall fa= il to pay his outstanding account after receiving due        notice as provided in Rule 18 shall cease to be a member of the Club and shall

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   be liable to have his name posted up in a conspicuous place in the Club as a <= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp; defaulter.

<= o:p>

2= 0. = ;     EXPELLED MEMBERS

<= o:p>

2= 0.1     No person who has been expelled from the Club under Rule 14.7 shall at

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            any t= ime be re-admitted either as a member, visitor or guest of the Club.

<= o:p>

2= 1. &nbs= p;     DUTIES OF HONORARY SECRETARY, HONORARY ASSISTANT         SECRETARY AND HONORARY TREASURER.

<= o:p>

2= 1.1     The Honorary Secreta= ry shall:-

<= o:p>

2= 1.1.1 Carry out the instructions of the Committee.

<= o:p>

2= 1.1.2 Be in charge of the management of t= he Club.

<= o:p>

2= 1.1.3 See that only such people make use = of the Club as are entitled to do so.

<= o:p>

2= 1.1.4 Report to the Committee any infring= ement to the Rules and Bye-Laws

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            which may come to= his notice.

<= o:p>

2= 1.1.5 Have charge of all the property bel= onging to the Club and see that it is

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   maintained in good order.

<= o:p>

2= 1.1.6 Have power to require any grossly misbehaving member to leave the premises

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   of the Club then and there.

<= o:p>

2= 1.1.7 Conduct all correspondence and sign= all letters, papers and etc. concerning the &nb= sp;     affairs of the Club.

<= o:p>

2= 1.1.8 Keep a record of the members of the= Club with dates of admission.

<= o:p>

2= 1.1.9 Prepare agenda for, convene and rec= ord the minutes of all the General Meetings and         Committee Meetings.

<= o:p>

2= 1.1.10 Issue instructions to the Honorary Treasurer to pay all bills that have bee= n          &= nbsp; authorised by the Committee.

<= o:p>

<= o:p>

2= 1.1.11 Be empowered to expend the sum of not exceeding RM1,000.00 on any one<= /o:p>

2= 1.2     The Honorary Assistant Secretary shall assist and shall carry out duties under            the direction of the Honorary Secretary.

21.3.1 Collect all monies due to the Club and issue receipts for same.

2= 1.3.2 Pay all authorised bills of the Clu= b on the instructions of the Honorary Secretary.

21.3.3 Keep proper records of the Club accounts.

2= 1.3.4 Prepare monthly receipts and expend= iture statements for submission to the &nbs= p;          Committee at Committee Meetings.

<= o:p>

21.3.5 Generally be in charge in all the monies entrusted to his care.

2= 1.3.6 Pay in all collections into the Ban= k and retain a sum of not exceeding

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            RM5,000.00 in cas= h in hand at any one time.

<= o:p>

2= 2. = ;     GUESTS

<= o:p>

22.1 &= nbsp;   Members may introduce a guest or guests to the Club so long as such

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            intro= duction does not interfere with the convenience of other members.=

<= o:p>

22.2 &= nbsp;   A member introducing a guest shall on each day in which such guest uses the <= o:p>

=            Club, enter the name and address of the guest and his own name in the<= /span>

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            book = kept for that purpose in the Club.

<= o:p>

22.3 &= nbsp;   No guests shall be introduced as a guest to the Club for more than 14 days in =

=            any one year.

<= o:p>

22.4 &= nbsp;   No member shall at any one time introduce as a guest, any one who has

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            defau= lted or been expelled or suspended from the Club or whose application to

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   be a member has been rejected.

22.5 &= nbsp;   Any guest introduced in accordance with this Rule shall have the privilege of <= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        enjoying all the facilities of the Club during the period that he is introduced as <= o:p>

=            a guest.

<= o:p>

2= 2.6     Members shall be respon= sible for the observance of the Rules and Bye-Laws

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   of the Club by the guests introduced by them.

2= 3. = ;     CLUB HOURS

<= o:p>

23.1 &= nbsp;   The Club House shall be opened to members of the Club on all days from

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            7.30 a.m. to 12 midnight bu= t the Committee is empowered to curtail or

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            extend these hours on any occasion they consider advisable.

<= o:p>

24. = ;     CLUB SERVANTS

<= o:p>

24.1 &= nbsp;   All servants of the Club shall be under the charge of the Honorary Secretary. <= o:p>

=            No member shall reprimand any servant of the Club, nor take him away from

=            his duties. But any complaint with regard to the conduct of any servant of the =

=            Club, shall be made known to the Honorary Secretary who shall have power to =

=            deal with him in any manner he thinks proper and inform the members of the         Committee of the nature of the complaint and of the action he had taken re-such        compl= aint at the next meeting.

25. = ;     CLUB PROPERTY

<= o:p>

2= 5.1     No property of th= e Club such as books, periodicals and etc. shall be removed from=

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   the premises of the Club without the previous sanction of the Honorary Secretar= y.

<= o:p>

26. &nbs= p;     PROPERTY ADMINISTRATORS

<= o:p>

2= 6.1     All immovable property = of the Club shall be registered in the name of the Club, and all      instruments relat= ing to that property shall be as valid and effective as if they had been executed by a registered proprietor provi= ded that they are executed by the President, &n= bsp;   the Honorary Secretary and the Honorary Treasurer for the time being of the Clu= b        whose appointments are authenticated by a certificate of the Registrar and sealed with      the se= al of the Club.

2= 6.2     The property of the Club shall not be sold, leased, pledged, withdrawn or transferred        witho= ut the consent and authority of not less than 2/3 of the members present at the      General Meeting of members.

<= o:p>

27. =      COMPLAINT AND SUGGESTIONS

<= o:p>

2= 7.1     Complaints and suggesti= ons shall be entered by members in the book provided for             the purpose and shall be dealt with provisionally by the Honorary Secretary unt= il      such time as the Committee shall have an opportunity of discussing them.

28. = ;     NEW RULES

<= o:p>

2= 8.1     No new rules shall be p= assed except at a General Meeting by a majority of

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   those present, and they shall not come into force until the approval of the =

<= span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>        &= nbsp;   Registrar of Societies has been obtained.

<= o:p>

29. &nbs= p;     PROHIBITION

<= o:p>

2= 9.1     None of the following g= ames shall be played in the premises of the Club:

29.1.1 Roulette, Lotto, Fan Tan, Poh, Peh Bin, Belangkai, Pai Kau, Tau Ngau,

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            Tien Kow, Chap Ji= Kee, Sam Cheong, Twenty One, Thirty One, Ten

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            and a Half, all g= ames of dice, bankers's games and all games of mere chance.

<= o:p>

29.1.2 The Club shall not hold any lottery whether confined to its members or not,

=            in the name of the Club or its office bearers, committee or members without

=            the prior approval of the appropriate authority concerned.

<= o:p>

30. &nbs= p;     MATTERS NOT PROVIDED IN THE RULES

<= o:p>

3= 0.1     The Committee shall have power to exercise their discretion in dealing

<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>            with matters not provided for in the above rules.
